For me that house was the clincher overall in location finding as it was such a long mystery despite the waterfront location! Last few days I thought several times about that Hibiscus Island house. That is a good example for the importance of accurate examination of the episodes still my still and the improvement of our search capabilities. Because in hindsight that house should never have been considered seriously as a possibility because the location surrounding did not match with some crucial criteria (no long parallel-Like waterway in background). what we have achieved in accuracy is remarkable: if you think about it-even in these short scenes in RIB that were filmed in a way that not much of the house was revealed, we were able to suss out such a richness of information, ie a dozen of unique clues and find it by eliminating other locations and verifying the house even without realtor pictures. If we had that accuracy and structured skills a few years ago we would have found it back then. I also searched all way up but there was no second possible spot with parallel waterway and tip of land possible. now I am very confident that we will find all other unknown locations too! PS as for the statistics: of around 40% of all episodes we have production notes (we have all location adresses oficially on paper), from the rest (estimated 6-7 locations per episode on average) we have a hit rate of 92.5% (found all of est. 396 unknown locations but 30)! That is crazy and unbelievable! If somebody at Universal finds out they would refer us to the NSA for such skills! It looks similar to the Judge´s house in Contempt of Court, that´s right. But the Judge house was on a corner of Flamingo Drive (2580 Flamingo was the exterior scene at the entrance) and this house is not. This first was the one airtommy suggested - 3351 Poinciana Avenue, Coconut Grove that was Castillo’s house in Golden Triangle 2, Bushido, and Heart of Night. I had no trouble talking my way into the gate guarded street, I just told the guard I wanted to take a pic of the house that was in Miami Vice. Vice fans are everywhere. To me the front looks a lot like the house that was in Vice. It’s still there. It is the same house as in Rising sun of death and Love at first sight. Looks a little different. These are the best I could get, a lady came out and didn’t like me taking pics of her house regardless of the reason. Screen caps: My pics: Thanks Jim for your brave attempt to take these pictures especially since there is no Vice fan living at Caitlin’s address now! although the big window at the house has been changed the house itself and the low partly glass brick mural in front of it is still the same! we have had no real front pic of both important locations (both in 3+ episodes!) - until now! PS the Castillo house is still owned by the same (Pancoast) family as it has never been in the market. This. explains why they are more relaxed about photographers. The Kendall home has been sold after Vice and the new owners are not relaxed or informed or both for whatever reason. It looks like Crandon Park on Key Biscayne. @Matt5 Did you ever see such a structure there? You actually see them walk inside and there is a working bathroom, so it's not just a facade. Can anybody remember what I'm talking about? I'm pretty sure it was not from MV, rather it was from a movie or another TV show like Burn Notice.
