Songs that should've played on VICE

Remember when in “Payback” when Crockett brings the girl to his boat from the bar and the raucous music is playing loudly on his boat radio?

That song is “Soul Kitchen” by X.

On the same album, there was a song that sounded pretty much the same as “Soul Kitchen” called “Your Phone’s Off the Hook, But You’re Not”, which is far more fitting for the situation.

Why would they not use this song instead of the other? ?(

Any season and this obscure short lived band wouldn't have cost the show much.

Not sure which episode this would fit in, nor which scene it cold work with, contextually, but man is it a favorite of mine:

I'll see your Chicago song, and raise you another. This song would've worked PERFECTLY for "Nobody Lives Forever":

Stone's War.

Paul Hardcastle "19"

I’ve always loved this song, and also thought it would have been great for Stone’s War. It’s hard to believe Paul is a smooth/contemporary jazz musician now. :)

I wonder if it would have worked with the O'Hara car chase.

Great song but would never work for a car chase neither lyrics wise nor style-wise.

A friend of mine posted this original song a few minutes ago, and I think it totally could have worked on MV!
