Smuggler's Blues
Looks like I'm finally getting to come to Miami, at last! It's on business, but I'm hoping to find maybe a couple of hours to myself for a look around. So what are the Miami Vice 'must see's'? Where do I go in order to say 'Wow, this is Miami Vice!' I'd like to see the marina where Crockett kept his boat, is that still there? Where (and what) is the big lit up building in the credits at the beginning? I am VERY excited about this!

Check out my posts in this thread: https://miamiviceonline.com/index.php?/topic/14606-filming-locations/ You probably mean this building in the opening credits: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miami_Tower It's probably best seen from south of the river. On this map I marked where Crockett's boat was docked and where C&T say good-bye at the end of Freefall: https://binged.it/39dcRa1
Mr. Vigilante
Definitely go to Bayside! First time I went there (around 2001) all I could do was stare down at the marina like a dork. I'm sure everyone with me got sick of the "Crockett's boat was docked right there man!!" comments.

Do you have or do you know who may have plotted the major shooting sites on a map as you have done here? I'd love to see it for my future trip to Miami . Looks like all the links are broken except the first one from member Oceans. That one is still active. I just wish we had a comprehensive map that ties out many more locations.
