Richie Rich
I like the cover art, but looks like it is neither the original release cover nor the Pickwick release, which eliminated the 4 gospel tunes on it. The one I play at Christmas is the Pickwick release. This album has some weirdness attached to it, including a vendetta against it by Irving Berlin. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elvis'_Christmas_Album
Dadrian
the pickwick has "if everyday were like christmas" on it (1966). this is one my faves.

Click on the green link to play the song.I laugh every time I hear this song. I can see Clark looking out the window to his dream swimming pool with "Merry" taking off her suit and then you see Cousin Eddy jumping up and down on the diving board.Too funny

gstien
I've got a Sinatra Christmas CD in the car, plus I think it includes the entire Rat Pack. I'll check tomorrow.I tend to stick to the classics. Especially Nat King Cole's renditions. He was awesome, but died too soon, way too soon. Lar
;)Nah, maybe not my favorite, although I did like their rendition of "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" a lot. I don't have a whole lot (i.e., any) Christmas albums, though Giant Eagle has a huge display if them out now: Elvis, Jimmy Buffett, a ton of the classics...see, now you all got me in the mood for one!I do have more in the way if individual songs, though. The Kinks "Father Christmas" was always a favorite, even if it is pretty mean spirited for the holidays (though they do work a message in: Remember the kids who don't have anything this holiday). Oh, and because it's the first thing that popped to mind, the B-side of this single (look in the red banner in the upper right corner):
Dadrian
the pics aren't showing for me, lar, but b-side christmas single makes me think of 1984 Wham! - "last christmas". is that the one?edit:i see the pics now. i was way off
nash3333
Trans Siberian Orchestra, their CDs don't do the live show justice. The first "Very Special Christmas".....Stevie Nicks doing "Silent Night", and The Pretenders doing "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas"....great. Frey
I usually don't like classical music.....except at Christmas. I have 3 or 4 Christmas cd's by Manheim Steamroller.
