I dont exactly know which one, but in a early season 5 Episode (Crockett wears long hair!!) there was a car scene where he suddenly had his season 3 short haircut back, maybe they reused some scenes...

They did this in any case in A Bullet For Crockett in the Teaser. There Crockett has a short S3 haircut.

In "Cuba Libre" he breaks the glass of a door with his assault rifle that is already open. The door slides open slightly.

Before.

After! notice the gap.

Stunt and continuity edit blooper: In "Great McCarthy" when they chase the drug selling professor rhrough the hotel garden, Zito is trying to make a pass on the bikini beauty, posing as the life saver at the pool, sitting on a high chair wearing a striped golf cap.

In one frame we see Trudy, Gina chasing the professor near the pool and a man (who does not look like John Diehl) WITHOUT a golf cap has already hopped down the high chair to support the chase.

Then it cuts and Zito, still sitting on his high chair and having the cap still on, jumps down the chair and tells the bikini girl to hold the post.

Here we see both flaws in sequence....

These aren’t really “goofs” per se, but they always jump out at me:

- at the beginning of Payback, Crockett says “…this little tête-à-tête”, but he pronounces it “tête-à-tay” (leaving off the final “t”)

- he also pronounces “commendations out the yin yang” as “yeenyang” many times throughout the series.

Maybe I need to take a break for awhile :)

There are loads that unfortunately can been seen throughout the series. There are a few that stick out in my mind. The first was Liam Neeson’s death in “When Irish Eyes Are Crying”. I don’t know why they chose to go with the shot of his head moving post fall but it did take me out of the moment when I first saw it.

The other goof I fondly remember is Sandy Dyson’s death scene from “Asian Cut”. The actress Julie Brams who played Sandy could clearly been seen drawing breath as she supposedly lay there dead. Completely took me out of the scene and should of been cut from the final edit. Most goofs don’t really matter but when it’s this obvious, I have to question the editors ability to edit.

At the end of Down For The Count (Part II), Crockett, "Tubbs" and Switek go to a mall for the final shootout.

Philip Michael Thomas was clearly not available, so they used a double. They didn't do their best to hide this fact.

"Tubbs" enters behind Crockett:

They have an extra walk in between Crockett and "Tubbs" to distract:

Next, Switek enters.

But, Switek walks right behind "Tubbs", so "Tubbs" has to do his best to cover his face:

"Tubbs" wasn't seen much for the rest of the shootout. :-)

I'm curious as to why PMT wasn't available?  This is like when they used DJ's double in the jail scene of "Victims of Circumstance".

Could’ve been something as simple as he was sick. ?(

He looks like Ernest Robinson. I think it was his last appearance as a Tubbs' double on Miami Vice after Robinson was injured in an accident on the set of "Baby Blues.

Speaking of (stunt) double goofs there are many examples. The most obvious ones:

  • One way ticket: a false Crockett and a false Tubbs arrest a false Jean Faber at the horse farm
  • Miracle Man: a wrong Crockett gets out of the car in the teaser and the only real DJ scene is a headshot close up in the teaser, everything else is Bobby Foxworth
  • Home invaders: a wrong Crockett drives along Collins Ave at night in a slow motion close up
  • Lost Madonna: a wrong Crockett walks into the Collonade hotel and also talks to Scianti inside (only one close up is DJ)
  • Hell hath no fury: a wrong Crockett (Bobby Foxworth again) in plain sight pulls Trudy away from the reporters

Seeing as there wasn't any stunt work done here they should have picked this guy from "Dutch Oven" played Paul in another episode I think.

For such a close up shot they should have got someone who looked like PMT.

Shame on me for missing this originally when it was posted. But I had already started a “Blooper Thread” many years ago. So with that being said, I’m going to merge the two together as they are really the same.

having money and drug at the same place when having a deal, which is the series norm is totally unrealistic. maybe it happens for small doses, but certainly not for big quantities of drugs

Why does everyone on the show almost always pronounce “Interpol” as “inner pool”?

Is this just on MV, or pretty much everyone who speaks English?

”Enter-pole” is correct pronunciation, right?

In "Borrasca" after discovering the grisly aftermath, Switek leaves Arturo Uribe's carpenter workshop way too quickly, 5 seconds to be exact.

It would have took longer to discover the dead bodies as they were on the next floor up.

Borrasca's men travelling up the stairs.
