Easy one. Crockett in "Made for Each Other" about the counterfeit money. One of the best openings in the whole series, at least in my opinion.

That would be Guzman talking in Down for the Count 2.

Funny as my first thought was John Burns to Jerry Beck in Dead Bang, but John didn't say the word 'Pal" at the end.

Well we all know who always says “pal” in MV, so let’s get the episode. :p

Yep, we sure do! :)

The “you” may only be implied—I can’t recall exactly how it sounds.

I recall Tubbs  said "We've got the wrong guy" in Hit List during the interrogation.

Not sure if that's the one you have in mind :birdie:

Ahh..  it was Crockett saying " Got the wrong guy, pal" to the Commish in the Lost Madonna when he asked if "either of you gentlemen know anything about art?"

Ding ding ding! Nice work!

Obviously, I’ve been revisiting S5 for the first time in at least 10 years! I’ve watched a couple of favorites (like this one) here and there, but not straight through in a LONG time. Aside from the flaws we always discuss, I’m finding I enjoy these episodes far more than I’d previously given them credit.

I hear ya, buddy. I JUST started re-watching the series (from the beginning) last week for the first time in a LONG time. I have a friend who is even more fanatical about the series than me and knows locations WAY better than me. So I'm trying to not only re-spark my interest but also try and get way better at locations to keep up with her. I need to go down to Miami and do some scouting this year. And I so agree with you about watching later seasons more often for the locations and music, and to try and enjoy them more than ever before because this series was really something to treasure.  And I love the Lost Madonna (Clapton music was outstanding) and it is comical to see the tough guy from the Commish and the Shield play such an effeminate character in here. :)

Yes, @Sonny-Burnett , Michael Chiklis appeared very chickless in this episode. :)

Sorry. That was just dumb. :):):)

Before awhile ago, I would have been, too. I got a good laugh at this exchange because I hadn’t watched this episode in years.

That was from one of my favorite S5 eps World of Trouble with Al Lombard, and it was Switek to Crockett (after the Lombard scene with his son) after Crockett says he liked him better with skates.  Great episode where Lombard gets back with his family, albeit short-lived.

Dang and I re-watched this episode on Blu-ray a month or two ago! :)
