Fan of Miami Vice since it was originally aired in Germany in the 80s, and yes, I am that old. 30+ years later I live in Florida myself (not planned, just love happened). Originally from Germany I moved to Central Florida over 5 years ago. Started watching the show again a few weeks ago (German re-run) and got hooked again at the very first minute. Watching it even in original version too, Well, I guess the Miami Vice virus hit me hard, again. Amazing that you are hooked like that even after not watching nor even thinking about it for the past 30+ years. Although I am a fan of Crockett & Don Johnson (always will), watching it now Tubbs grows on me with every show. I enjoy reading the fan fiction on this site a lot. Reading it brought a lot of ideas in my head but I probably won't be able to add to the fan fiction topic as I am not a creative person at all and the stories will come out just awful, especially after reading all the good stuff here. More of us in this forum are old enough that we have watched Miami Vice on TV when it was aired the first time. Me, too. As you told that you're German you might be able to read my fan fictions, too. Ich habe die Sprache schon immer geliebt, aber meiner Meinung nach spreche ich sie nicht so gut wie ich es gern hätte. Bei der Übersetzung meiner Fan Fictions half mir mein amerikanischer Cousin, der leider vor sechs Jahren viel zu früh gestorben ist. Zwar versuche ich immer, erst den englischen Text einzugeben, von dem ich glaube, dass er richtig ist, aber wenn er falsch ist, benutze ich den Übersetzer.
