I noticed something about “the blue blazer” last night that I’d somehow never noticed before. It’s the exact same as “the coral blazer”, just a different color!

Same cut, same material, same pockets on the side, same corners at the bottom on front (instead of the traditional rounded)—just a different color.

Is this news to anyone else??

Same brand/vendor, if I had to guess. Maybe for the early episodes they just ordered several jackets in different colors from the same place before getting comfortable with the idea of trying some more unique patterns later in seasons 1 and 2.

It's mid-November, which means the "cold" weather here in Florida has returned. So I decided to let the outfit Don wore in "The Hit List" AKA "Calderone's Return, make a return as well. It's brighter in shade of blue, but I like to change things up just a bit. Same goes for my v-neck shirt instead of the scoop neck style (and probably the shoes too).

Got another light blue jacket for only about $30. Brand is Bar III, very lightweight and very comfortable.

The inside soles says "Haband" (made in Brazil). I bought them online like a year ago and I don't think I've ever actually left the house with them on. I was on the fence about them for a while cuz I was honestly not sure if they were men's shoes(based on the pictures) lol. But hey, they were only 5 bucks, so WTH. I just did a google check and it's better to search "Duke Haband", as I've found several other shoes in very similar styles and different colors.

What's the consensus on this? It's tweed, which ain't gonna be fun to wear here in Florida except for this time of year, and it's $75, which is a little outta my price range (though granted, given it's a small size, the seller would probably negotiate on any reasonable offers since there won't be many). Those 2 things notwithstanding, I LOVE both the pattern and the vintage-style lapels. Most modern suit jackets have lapels that don't go as "wide" as they did back in the 80s.

I like the flecked pattern.  So I would say get it.  I live in the desert region and I have Vice blazers that can only be worn during this time of year.  Enjoy.

Nice!

I don't see the Civici Dessert Warrior as "Miami Vice" though. And yes, I have two of them myself ;)

Finally got me the powder blue jacket I've wanted for so long. Thanks Santa (Dad). I know it looks similar to the last one I posted but trust me they're different. The previous one has that linen texture/look to it, whereas this is a solid color. It's INC again, and whatever material is on the inside is the most comfortable material I've ever felt in a suit jacket (and you guys know I have a lot of them at this point). I almost wanna wear this thing with no shirt on at all lol. I also got another from the same brand in a dark navy blue that has kind of a ridged pattern to it.

Hi, cheers,  they are actually Vintage 5512s made in Austria, an unusual chequered racing theme on the frames.  I got them some time ago indirectly from a guy who lived in Beirut through the 70s to the 90s. The weather is great here at the moment in January and perfect for Seersucker.

Very cool! I have a few pairs of those, but the temples looked different to me. Great shades!

Thanks for the compliment, yes I like them too but I only have the one pair of Carreras, I personally do not like Rayban Wayfarers on me or the Revos worn  in M. Vice but I have some other Raybans that are similar without the cat eye look as my go to daily beaters.

My Favourite sunglasses (besides these in the photo) are my 2 sets of Persols, both from the Bond Movie Casino Royale.

One pair is the tortoiseshell Persol 2720 the other the rarer metal frames, the Persol 2244. I also have some blue lens glasses  from the Bond film TWINE (Brosnan). They all get an outing from time to time but the 5512s and the Persols are class.
