Here's a closer look. All-black case and bracelet. Flat top, no bezel. A silver screw on each corner of the case. Crown at 4 'o clock. Seems to have day-date display at 3 'o clock. Crown position/day-date strongly points towards Seiko but that's been a dead end so far.

You are an incredibly detail pincher! :p

Now we have proof that Izzy knew Lombard and stole the curtains from the protective custody place? :dance2:Crockett should have known this!

@DadrianWhile we´re at it and I am more into palm trees than curtains :p I think I discovered unknown ties between Crockett´s silly cousin Jack and Lupo Ramirez´ Club Ocho in Give a little, take a little :dance2:

Good eye Daytona.  Here's a pic of a neon tree I took at Mr. Neon's in Hialeah years ago.  Same design and might be the same tree with changes due to time or other factors.

Found some more appearances of this field watch. Actually, this watch was worn by so many different characters in various episodes that it almost would deserve it's own thread...

S1E02 - "Heart of Darkness" - Jimmy Duncan image.thumb.png.436c1dfc1959593f99b09c3ed82a2375.png

S1E08 - "Glades" - Sonny Crockett

S1E15 - "Smuggler's Blues" - Jimmy Cole

S2E11 - "Back In The World" - Ira Stone

S3E03 - "Stone's War" - Capt. William Maynard
image.thumb.png.a45bb4ff9b1930e6139a7ebdaeaf5721.png

And I'm likely going to find more appearances of the watch over time.

I am not willing to reveal how many hours of my life time I have wasted investigating on this watch (well, if you can't find any new filming locations anymore, you have to divert your energy to something else :p) but today I'm happy to inform you that I'VE FINALLY BEEN ABLE TO IDENTIFY IT !!!

It's a Pulsar Diver Y513 6029 quartz watch, apparently also known as the Pulsar "Arnie", from 1979/1980. These watches were produced for Pulsar by Seiko, hence my initial hunch regarding the crown position at 4 o'clock was correct.

Below are some close-up photos of the watch. This one is currently up for sale on eBay, at a, let's say, rather ambitious price, given it's current condition. I have to admit though that nevertheless, I'm somewhat tempted to grab it, just for it's MV connection...

Really? There are still 8 open cases and a few unknown establishing shots that are less effort than finding a specific watch with a microscope in 111 episodes! :p
