Was it in The Haunting (1999 remake with Catherine Zeta Jones)?

That's it!  I was hoping this would be a bit of a stumper.

OK, silly film, but a great Jerry Goldsmith score!

I loved it…saw it in the theater when it first came out! I love and have both the original 1963 version & this one!

I apologize for the bad quality of this screenshot, but I just rewatched "When Irish Eyes..." and was reminded of this film.  Bonus point if you identify the James Bond/Indiana Jones girl sitting with "Sean."

That’s Alison Doody…who was Jenny Flex in the 007 movie A View To a Kill (1985), and she was the evil Nazi girl Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). I think this clip is from A Prayer For the Dying (1987).

Is this movie worth watching/getting? I’ve not seen it before, but I’ve heard of it…and that the ending is kind of strange.

@Ferrariman @RedDragon86 So, what do either one of you guys think of this film…is it worth acquiring/watching, or not really?

It's London in the 60's.   Sex, drugs and rock and roll.  I don't remember a lot of it but to watch the trailer again it looks very dated.  If nothing else, it's a very good representation of the times.

You should absolutely watch it, like Ferrariman said it's all about the swinging 60's, which also takes the form of a psychological mystery.

In the lead role you will recognize David Hemmings who also starred in "Deep Red". I know that you are a big Dario Argento fan :)

I’ll definitely have to check it out!  As for Dario Argento…there are a few of his movies that are interesting because of his wild visuals—with use of color & lighting. :glossy:Deep Red is a good one! But, there are also some that are just “unrealistically” gross, lol! :) :p

Sometimes to me, British movies from the 60–70s look “dated”, compared to even U.S. movies from the same time period. But, that’s also part of their “vintage” charm, I think. I’ll have to check it out.

It looks like ‘Odette’ (Lynn Whitfield) to me. But, not sure of the film?

That is Silverado. That was one of my favorite westerns when I was growing up.

Correct!

It is Lynn Whitfield @ViceFanMan :) - in a scene with Danny Glover.

She is one of my favourite guest stars and "Bought and Paid For" is definitely in my top 10 episodes overall. So Good.
