Matt5 Posted June 15, 2019 Report Share Posted June 15, 2019 @miamijimf got it - but the exact scene I was thinking of was the end scene in the great Season 4 episode “Death and the Lady” when Crockett confronts Glantz on the stairwell around half way up. That would not give beginning sleuths a chance. Yes in the teaser of French Twist Cindy runs to this spot and watches Bandi drive away. That was a fast solution. Looks exactly the same as when Miami Vice shot in this area - we see mainly the windows in the scene, particularly ground floor.
