Vincent Hanna
Billy Idol had some big hits man. White Wedding could go in the "Songs could've been on MV" thread too.

ArtieRollins
I will never understand why most norwegian radio stations only play their one song, The Way It Is (and the sad thing is that it is more of a chance to hear 2pac - Changes than the original) when these guys produced so many great songs within a few years, just as catchy as the hit mentioned above. Administrators James Posted September 20, 2016 Author Administrators Report Share Posted September 20, 2016 Someone calling themselves "Crockett", made this album. It's pretty epic.
Daytona74
Kind of a haunting little reggae number, that song. It's a shame Grace Jones never appeared on Miami Vice. She was at the height of her career in the early to mid 80s. But I'm sure the success of "Slave To The Rhythm" in late 1985 meant she had no time to go to Miami. And before that, she was busy playing a lead role in "A View To A Kill" alongside Roger Moore. She would have been great for offbeat roles, like the part Eartha Kitt played in "Whatever Works"... or maybe as one of Legba's women in "Tale of the Goat". Administrators James Posted September 21, 2016 Author Administrators Report Share Posted September 21, 2016 I personally prefer The Pretenders' version. It was also on GTA Vice City Stories.

I like the original music video with Laura Branigan, it's been played like a "thousand" times here on VH1.

And they were also in the charts at the same time, at least here in Europe. Not sure which version performed better. The song was co-written by one Raffaele Riefoli and he published the song himself on his own album under the artist name "Raf". And then Laura Branigan came out with her version as well, after the song had been pitched to her by the writers.
