This is a very rare BTS picture of one of the CIA pictures that are shown to Castillo about Gretsky with his wife in Cuba and Moscow. All these foreign shots were of course taken in Miami, the Moscow scenes with snow on the balcony of the Dade County Courthouse, the Cuba scenes with AK47 on Espanola Way. In early March (when they started filming the pilot usually at 6am) temperatures can sometimes drop below 20c during nighttime or mornings and that is freaking cold for most molly coddled natives there! That’s why! PS I once walked at Christmas (a bit below 25c) with short pants into a supermarket in Miami and they asked why I wasn’t freezing in this „cold weather“. In the middle of the picture we see the hot dog stand and left of it the actor who plays the stand owner in his colorful shirt. I added an episode still for comparison reasons. I have another BTS pic from that same location/episode below (PMT in the middle) and the Daytona is there too. Given the front I would say that is the stunt car, not the primary one that had no indented front lights, but a nice smooth hood in line with diagonal head light surfaces (at least if my memory serves me correctly). The one that sticks out the most to me is when Crockett is telling Tubbs they’re on the way to talk to Angela near the beginning of Milk Run.
