Either "Made For Each Other" limo ride or "The Good Collar" limo ride.

As far as i know the Series never shot there, but the 2006 Miami Vice movie did in the trailer park there at NW 79th St/ NW 19th Ave. Here is a great article on a still very troubled area of Miami. https://thenewtropic.com/liberty-city-history-moonlight/ Edited October 10, 2018 by Matt5
airtommy
I was thinking of "The Good Collar" limo scene, but it's not the same spot as this eBay photo. Edited October 11, 2018 by airtommy

The owner said they will wear "Miami Vice colors" next season - seriously. 2

The filming location pages have been moved to a new website: http://www.miamivicelocations.org But as I remember, whenever I viewed locations it was on this site. So the other one must have been unavailable long ago.

miamijimf
Not a great video but gives you some idea of what it was like to fly from Miami to the Bahamas on Chalk's (Pilot, One Way Ticket, and Baseballs of Death). airtommy
Miami Vice used Virginia Key as a filming location many times (as did Burn Notice). Notable examples include Jimbo's Place in Glades: the beach on the eastern side of the island in the final scene of One Way Ticket: and the big open sandy pit where the Daytona gets blown up in When Irish Eyes Are Crying: Nature areas are rare in Miami and apparently we almost lost this one in 1995. There was a proposal for a big development project and this article was written as if it was a done deal. Somehow it was blocked at the last minute. https://www.miaminewtimes.com/news/treasured-isle-6363643 From that article I learned that South Beach, Fisher Island, and Virginia Key were originally all one connected piece of land. In the 1830s a hurricane cut off Virginia Key. Then in 1905 the government cut off Fisher Island in 1905 to create a shipping channel. A nice little lake in the island was sadly turned into a trash dump. https://www.miaminewtimes.com/news/virginia-key-landfill-remains-a-hellish-hazard-while-bureaucrats-bicker-6385602 http://viewfromvirginiakey.blogspot.com/2010/09/1940-virginia-key-filling-slated-for.html yellow = Duck Lake red = Jimbo's Place Edited October 29, 2018 by airtommy

I always look at old photos and maps of Long Beach, where I live, to see the changes along the coast and inland. My wife doesn't understand why I find it so interesting. LOL! We currently live in marina that was once wetlands. It's an all too common story. Edited November 7, 2018 by pahonu
